Terms and Conditions
Bookings are confirmed in written form by email or any other means. African Big Cats Safaris will consider your booking valid after a payment of your 15% deposit. You will need to send a proof of payment for the transaction.
We require a deposit of 15% upon booking confirmation with us. The rest balance is to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings that are made less than 4 weeks prior to arrival, we require a full amount.
- METHOD OF PAYMENT
Payment can be made via bank / wire transfer and credit card online payment.
Any amendments done by you will not incur any extra cost. The costs that will increase due to your change in program will be added to your price accordingly.
- CANCELLATION POLICY
Our cancellation policy
|60 days and more, loss of the deposit (non-refundable)|
|60 to 45 days, 30% of the total cost|
|45 to 30 days, 60% of the total cost|
|30 to 15 days, 90% of the total cost|
|Less than 15 days, 100% of the total cost|
African Big Cats Safaris shall not be held responsible for any injury or death to persons on tour, nor for loss or damage to personal property, however may they be caused.
The company draws your attention to the fact that there are certain inherent risks present when on Safari, or when engaging in any strenuous physical activity.
It is your sole responsibility to obtain appropriate medical advice as to medication, immunization, and whether or not you are fit enough to undertake the trip, prior to departure. The company shall not be liable for illness, injury or death sustained whilst visiting the properties owned and managed by the company.
- FORCE MAJEURE
If the company is affected by any unforeseen events (like floods, explosions, fires, accidents, sickness, government intervention, weather condition), The Company shall not be held liable in any way for any of these possible occurrences or any consequences, which may arise as a result of these.
- PRICE CHANGES
All our prices are based on the current national park fees and government taxes. If there are such increases in prices, we will notify you during that time and we will add the prices respectively.
- TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
You will need to go through all your travel documents well after you have received them e.g. tickets, vouchers etc. This is to ensure that the dates and names are correct and avoid any complications on during your stay with us.
It is important that guests have the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover themselves, as well as any dependents/travelling companions for the duration of their trip to Tanzania. This insurance should include medical expenses and repatriation expenses.
- PASSPORTS, VISAS & OTHER TRAVEL PAPERS
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that his or her passports, visas, health certificates, vaccinations and any other documents required are all in order for the countries to be visited.
The Company cannot be responsible for any consequences, damages or claims if the client does not attend correctly to the client’s documentation and related matters prior to the tour date.
The payment of the deposit or any other partial payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all provisions of the terms and conditions. The terms under which you agree to make the reservation cannot be changed or amended unless this is done in writing and signed by an authorized staff of the company.
