Lake Manyara Walking Safari

OVERVIEW

Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas. A small park at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s Western escarpment. Offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself.

Detailed Itinerary

Early morning or between 7:30a.m. to 06:00p.m. hike down the Great Rift Valley, through a dense ground water forest. View birds, monkeys, bush buck and other forest animals. Immerse yourself in the sounds of the forest while the fresh streams and waterfalls surrounding you.
