Lake Manyara National Park Night Game Drive

OVERVIEW

Lake Manyara National Park which is almost 2 hours’ drive from Arusha offers a very different perspective in wildlife viewing as you are able to do a night game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is well known for its tree climbing lions and as we know that Lions are nocturnal therefore it is a great possibility to see these animals at night. Hippos too are nocturnal and are active at night therefore seeing varieties of animals including the civets are seen at night. It is a special feeling to do a night game drive and if you’re lucky enough you might encounter a Lion’s kill and take pictures which will last forever.

Detailed Itinerary

You will depart from your accommodation and meet the team at Lake Manyara gate since the activity starts at 8:00p.m. therefore, you will begin the drive from that time.

Your skilled and professional driver guide will take to the spots that there will be a great chance of seeing animals and experience a different impression of the nature at night whereby you will be inspired by the call of the wild and the birds squeaking.

After a 2 hour drive we will drive back to the gate and proceed to our accommodation for overnight.
